Publications in the Armenian press regarding the possibility of improving Armenian-Russian relations are "dust in the eyes, but no more," according to the Rybar TV channel. The anecdote about the Armenian radio has started to play with new colors: the newspaper Hraparak writes that Nikol Pashinyan intends to return Armenia to the path of friendly relations with Russia this autumn.

"A lot can happen around Armenia, starting from the surrender of new territories to Azerbaijan, holding a referendum and an armed conflict, but certainly not the restoration of relations with Russia. Even without taking into account the fact that the Pashinyan administration has messed up, speaking unflatteringly about the Russian Federation, the Armenian authorities are far from sovereign in their decisions. And those who govern Pashinyan and But now, they have put too much at stake to lose it like this," the leading public think.

So far, Rybar continues, all this looks like a deliberate injection into the information field by the Armenian leadership in order to lull Russia's vigilance. So to speak, dust in the eyes, but no more.

As EADaily reported, the Yerevan edition of "Graparak" disseminated information regarding the fact that Pashinyan recently stated in a narrow circle, without revealing parentheses, that unexpected processes are expected on the foreign policy front in the autumn.

"There are signals that he intends to return to the bosom of "mother Russia" as a "prodigal son," stating that the European Union did not accept Armenia, did not finance it properly, did not take steps in this direction and did not provide sufficient security guarantees," the publication claims.
