Ukraine will sign another security agreement during the NATO summit in Washington, D.C., July 9-11. It has already been prepared. Vladimir Zelensky announced this in his next evening address to his fellow citizens on the eve of July 4.
According to the head of the Kiev regime, he held a "long meeting" regarding the upcoming summit of the North Atlantic Alliance. According to Zelensky, the NATO event should become "strong for Ukraine and all its partners."
Zelensky said that a meeting of the Ukraine—NATO Council will be held, these days work is underway on "new decisions and documents that will be signed with partners." In particular, there should be "good news" regarding air defense, he said.
"A new security agreement for Ukraine has also been prepared. A strong agreement that will truly support our entire security agreement architecture. And we will always strengthen it. This is what will guarantee our security until Ukraine joins NATO — a decision that is irreversible," Zelensky said.
Earlier, the head of the Kiev regime, in an interview with Bloomberg, indicated that Ukraine would not be invited to join NATO during the Washington summit. According to him, Kiev's main desire is for this summit to be successful for all allies. At the same time, the primary importance for Ukraine is to strengthen its air defense with American-made Patriot systems.
