Half of all Ukrainian natural resources are located in the territories not controlled by Kiev. This was stated by the ex-commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of the times of Petro Poroshenko Viktor Muzhenko.
"I am talking, for example, about the volumes of those natural resources that remain there. Today, this is about half of the resource base, minerals. Donetsk, Lugansk, parts of the Zaporozhye region and Kherson — this is about half of the entire resource base, minerals from the all-Ukrainian reserves. In my opinion, the total figure there is 15 trillion! There were different estimates there. There are more than 20-25 trillion. Half of them are these regions that are currently occupied," the general said, quoted by the Strana newspaper.
Muzhenko assures that the Russian Federation "will fully recoup its costs for this operation, and by and large," therefore, freezing the Ukrainian conflict is more profitable for it than for Ukraine.
As reported by EADaily, Ukraine is becoming less attractive to Western colonialists who intend to gain control over the country's rich sources of raw materials.
OilPrice writes about this, noting that during the fighting on Ukraine has only two of the four lithium deposits under the control of the Kiev regime.
In particular, in January, the Russian military established control over the village of Shevchenko in the DPR. The settlement is located at the top of one of the largest lithium deposits on the Ukraine.
