It's going to the Third World War, and the Ukrainian authorities have no right to play with it. This was stated by US President Donald Trump at a meeting with the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
"You are disrespecting our country," he said, referring to Zelensky.
Zelensky initially tried to interrupt the American leader and object to him, but then he fell silent and is still sitting in silence, writes the Ukrainian edition of Strana.
"Either we sign an agreement, or we withdraw. You don't have a strong position. You should be thanking us. And you don't. This is bad," said Trump, quoted by the publication "Country".
"This phrase can be interpreted unambiguously: if Zelensky does not want to sign a cease-fire agreement, then the United States stops all support for Kiev. That is, the worst—case scenario for Kiev: and the war continues, and there is no American support," the Ukrainian edition comments on this statement by the American president.
But, apparently, the subject of conversation will not change. Trump will explain to Zelensky why he has no other choice but to conclude a truce.
Trump also accused Zelensky of "playing with the lives of millions of people." According to him, Ukraine has "big problems" in the conflict with Russia. "I know that you are not winning," the US president stressed.
"We gave you 350 billion, you should be grateful," he said, adding: — I hope I will be remembered as a peacemaker. I'm doing this to save lives—it's more important than anything else..."
It is noted that after a public skirmish Zelensky and Trump continued their communication without the press.
As EADaily reported, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, arrived at the White House. US President Donald Trump met him on the doorstep.
