Encryption Keys: Tulsi Gabbard wants to investigate London

The confrontation between Washington and London is gaining momentum so quickly that it may soon lead to a complete rejection of intelligence sharing. Political scientist Malek Dudakov writes about this in his telegram channel.

The "intelligence" war of the United States and Britain is reaching a new level. The newly minted director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is thinking of starting a big investigation into the actions of London. We are talking about an escalating scandal with pressure on American IT giants from Britain.

Silicon Valley corporations are required to share encryption keys so that it will be easier for London to monitor its own population. Moreover, the British intelligence services even forbade it to be publicly reported. Apple was the first to not restrain itself, which refused to go along with London and announced the curtailment of some of its services in the British market.

Gabbard considers the attack from London to be a violation of the agreement between the United States and Britain, which prohibits countries from spying on each other. And in the case of providing the British with encryption keys, they will have the opportunity to monitor, among other things, the Americans.

At a recent meeting with US President Donald Trump, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer invited him to come to Foggy Albion and address the House of Commons. Over there at Trump will have the opportunity to scold the entire British politicum. For example, for widespread violations of freedom of speech — with police pressure from those who wrote the "wrong" post on social networks, and for turning Britain into a cartoon dystopia, where total surveillance of everyone is conducted.

The future of the Five Eyes intelligence alliance, from which the United States already wants to exclude Canada, is also at stake. The confrontation between Washington and London is gaining momentum so quickly that it may soon lead to a complete rejection of intelligence sharing. So instead of encryption keys, London is more likely to get another front of the war with the Trump team, which has already opened a lot.
