Moscow will withdraw from the truce if Kiev continues to violate it — Sheremet

Russia reserves the right to withdraw from the monthly energy truce if the Kiev regime continues to strike at energy facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation.

This was stated to RIA Novosti by State Duma deputy from the Crimean region, member of the Security Committee Mikhail Sheremet.

He stated that the Ukrainian leadership perceived the gesture of goodwill on the part of Russia as a weakness. As a result, Moscow complies with the terms of the agreements reached with the United States and does not strike at Ukrainian energy facilities, while Kiev continues its attacks on similar facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Mikhail Sheremet recalled the attacks on the gas storage facility in Crimea and the Suja gas measuring station, calling these attacks barbaric.

It is worth recalling that the agreement on a monthly energy truce was reached on March 18 in a telephone conversation between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.

A third of the term has already passed, and Washington has not taken any steps to force Kiev to comply with the agreement. Soon the truce will expire on its own, and Russian officials are only saying that Russia can withdraw from the agreement.

As reported by EADaily, earlier the head of the Kiev regime Zelensky spoke disparagingly about Saudi Arabia, expressing doubt about the expediency of their involvement in monitoring the regime of the "energy truce" between Moscow and Kiev.
