Today, the Russian and Ukrainian sides, with the support of the Red Cross, exchanged the bodies of the dead. This is reported by the telegram channel "Bild in Russian"*.

"On Good Friday, Ukraine and Russia exchanged hundreds of bodies of dead soldiers: the Ukrainian side received 909 bodies, the headquarters for prisoners of war in Kiev reported. Soldiers were killed in battles in the regions of Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye, Sumy and Kharkov. Some of the bodies came from morgues in Russia. Ukrainian troops have been controlling parts of the border Kursk region for several months," writes TK.

The Russian side received the remains of 41 servicemen in exchange.

It is noted that the exchange of bodies took place through the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

"Due to Russia's slow but steady offensive, which has been going on for several months, Ukrainian units often have to leave the bodies of their dead when retreating," the telegram channel claims.

Russia and Ukraine will hold a large-scale exchange of prisoners of war tomorrow, Sky News reports meanwhile, citing sources.

It is planned to exchange a total of more than 500 people. According to the source, with the mediation of the UAE, tomorrow each side will hand over 246 prisoners, including 46 wounded. Thus, the total number of exchanged Ukrainian and Russian prisoners with the participation of the Emirates will reach 3,233 people, UNIAN reports.
