The United States will withdraw from negotiations on the Ukrainian conflict if Moscow and Kiev complicate ending the war. This was stated at a briefing at the White House by US President Donald Trump.
"But I hope it doesn't come to that. I don't want to say that we are withdrawing from the negotiations," Trump said, quoted by Strana.
According to the American president, now there are good chances to get a Russian-Ukrainian agreement to end the conflict.
Washington does not specify a specific number of days for clarity in the deal on Ukraine, but wants to reach an agreement quickly, he noted.
The United States will no longer provide military support to Ukraine, Trump stressed.
However, later it was reported that Trump did not say directly about the refusal of military support.
"I would not like to talk about it, because I think we will cope with it (conclude an agreement on the end of the war. — Ed.)" — this is Donald Trump's answer to the question of whether the United States will continue to support Ukraine, Strana notes.
When asked if Russia was playing with him, Trump replied: "No one is playing with me, we have a very good chance of reaching an agreement."
