The American media, marked "urgent", write about the emergency situation in Washington County.
Residents of Nashville, Illinois, have been ordered to evacuate due to an "imminent" dam breach at the city's reservoir.
"Please evacuate your homes. If you are in a gray square [risk zone], you must evacuate immediately!" — read the message from the Emergency Management Agency.
Earlier, the agency issued a flash flood warning:
"There is a flood emergency in Washington County. Stay at home if you don't need to evacuate. Don't try to travel. Many roads are under water, and another 2-4 inches of rain is possible. Crossing flooded areas can lead to irreversible injury or death."
