Rapper Alisher Morgenstern* (Valeev *) stated that due to the new law on special accounts for foreign agents, he has become much poorer. He announced this in his telegram channel.

"Morgenstern * disappeared from the sites, and I became poorer by 90%," he wrote.

He explained that the new album released on February 14 had already disappeared from Russian streaming platforms for some time, and his compositions flew out of the charts.

"Due to the new law, which comes into force on March 1, I no longer receive money for music from the territory of Russia, and this is 90% of my audience. My new album was removed from Russian venues," Morgenstern noted, but added that no one would be able to get rid of it so easily.

It was decided to re-upload the release as a non-commercial one.

"I will be glad if you support me with asterisks or merch purchases, I started with strumming in the transition, I'm no stranger to begging for money for music," Morgenstern concluded*.

Earlier, similar problems in connection with the entry into force of the new law were discussed by the leader of the group "Leg cramped!" Max Pokrovsky *.

As reported by EADaily, the Russian Ministry of Justice recognized Morgenstern* as a foreign agent in May 2022. After that, the court fined him four times for lack of marking.

In mid-January, the musician's status was changed in the case of evading the obligations of a foreign agent, and he is involved as an accused. The performer does not admit his guilt.

In January of this year, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation declared the musician on the federal and interstate wanted list. At the same time, the artist's lawyer Sergei Zhorin did not confirm, but did not deny the search for Morgenstern *. According to him, the musician is not hiding and there is no need to put him on the wanted list.
