Europe has once again become "winged" by Russia, which could lead the world to a catastrophe, since earlier world wars began with aggressive actions by Europeans.

This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov in an interview with the TASS news agency. According to him, there is currently a new wave when Europe has turned against our country.

The Foreign Minister recalled that before Victories in the Great Patriotic War, in the Second World War, all world tragedies began with the aggressive actions of Europeans: the Napoleonic Wars, the First World War, and the Second World War.

"It was only after the Second World War, when Europe was weakened, that the Americans became the leaders of the so-called free world, and then they initiated most of the conflicts on the planet. And before that, all the tragedy came exclusively from Europe," the minister stated.

He recalled that during the Second World War, almost all "neutral" European countries participated in battles on the side of the Nazi Third Reich. Among these states was France.

"Official French troops took part in battles on the side of Nazi Germany, including taking part in a number of punitive operations. And there are many such examples," Lavrov concluded.

As reported by EADaily, earlier Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow would continue to seek the mandatory elimination of the root causes of the Ukrainian conflict, which was purposefully arranged by the West.
