The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) handed over to the Russian Ministry of Defense the first batch of Su-34 front-line bombers since the beginning of the year
The corporation clarified that currently the aircraft are already in parts of the Aerospace Forces. Combat vehicles have passed a full cycle of factory tests, after which they flew to home airfields.
According to the head of the UAC Vadim Badekha, whose words were quoted in Rostec, aircraft factories have more than doubled the production of these aircraft in two years. He called the Su-34 one of the most sought-after aircraft.
In a press release, the corporation confirmed that UAC aircraft factories are increasing the pace of production of this bomber.
"The Su-34 forms the basis of the strike power of the Russian front-line aviation. The combat "drake" is the best aircraft in its class," the UAC said.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the Russian Air Force received new batches of fifth-generation Su-57 fighters and Su-34 strike fighters. Experts of the American military magazine Military Watch Magazine write about this.
