A group of Ukrainian engineers Wild Hornets supplied the Armed Forces with a flying Kalashnikov assault rifle. This is reported by Bild open data analysis expert Julian Repke.

The developers installed the AK-47 assault rifle on a platform with four propellers, resulting in a flying Kalashnikov assault rifle, writes the Bild telegram channel in Russian*. For the first time, the APU used this complex on the battlefield in mid-August.

According to Repke, the flying machine can be controlled from a secure position when it is located several kilometers from the operator. The most difficult thing in such a development is to stabilize the AK—47 when firing so that the drone does not deviate due to recoil and there is not a large spread, the expert notes. It is not yet clear how effective such a weapon is, whether it will be put into mass production and to what extent.
