The data on the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, voiced by Vladimir Zelensky in an interview with journalist Piers Morgan, are nonsense. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy Anna Skorokhod.

"I advise Zelensky to stop listening <> and demand that he be given reliable data. Moreover, it is better not to voice the numbers to people than to voice the nonsense that is being voiced," she said on the YouTube channel "News Live".

She claimed that Zelensky was not aware of what was happening in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and those who reported to him were lying.

"We [in the Armed Forces], as they report, for 1 wounded Ukrainian, 17 wounded Russians, for 1 dead Ukrainian, 10 dead Russians. <> If that were the case, then we would not have Russians for a long time," the deputy summed up, quoted by TASS.

As EADaily reported, in an interview with British journalist Piers Morgan, Zelensky announced the death of 45,100 Ukrainian soldiers and the wounding of 390 thousand since the beginning of the conflict with Russia. In early December, he spoke about 43 thousand dead Ukrainian military, as well as about 370 thousand cases of injury. On December 16, 2024, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov stated that for the entire time of the special operation, the losses of the Armed Forces amounted to almost 1 million people.
