The music didn't play for long: Trump announced sanctions against Russia because of its victories at the front

If Russia does not cease fire on Ukraine, then the United States may impose new sanctions against it until an agreement is reached to resolve the crisis. This was announced today, March 7, by US President Donald Trump on his Truth Social page.

"Based on the fact that Russia is absolutely "beating" at the moment Ukraine on the battlefield, I am strongly considering the possibility of imposing large—scale banking sanctions, sanctions and tariffs on Russia until a ceasefire is reached and a final agreement on a peaceful settlement is reached," he wrote.

As EADaily reported, Donald Trump had previously stated that he would force Zelensky to peace, "who does not want the war to end," but after the rudeness of the Kiev guest in the Oval Office, he became confused and began demanding a public and deep apology from him. However, there was not even an apology — Zelensky only noted that he regretted what had happened. Then Trump said that was enough and switched, apparently, to the Russian side.
