This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
"The Federal Republic of Germany [in the Ramstein format at the 27th meeting on April 11 at NATO headquarters] announced the creation of another, ninth "Coalition of Capabilities" under its leadership, this time on radar warfare, and it will include 11 countries. It will be designed to ensure the reliability of Ukrainian communication systems, the suppression of communications of Russian units and, as mentioned, protection from drones. In general, this gathering, although it confirmed the preservation of The EU is in the mood for further military assistance to the Kiev regime, but there is obviously uncertainty, if not to say loss, in their behavior. The US is becoming increasingly detached from further participation in this wild process, and Europe has clearly forgotten how to act independently, without regard to Washington. And then the most important thing, because it will be necessary to bear sole responsibility for this," Zakharova said.
According to her, the meeting was held without the personal presence of the head of the Pentagon. They promised to allocate 21 billion euros for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, London announced an aid package of 350 million pounds, and in total in 2025 the British are going to spend 4.5 billion pounds on military assistance to Kiev.
"They [the British] are trying to keep up with them in Berlin. Ukraine has already shipped 30 additional missiles for installations, but Berlin cannot transfer the American systems themselves. In return, Germany is ready to allocate four more anti-aircraft missile complexes and supply combat vehicles, tanks, ammunition, and so on. In total, Germany plans to allocate about 3 billion euros for these purposes," the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry added.
