Poland will be forced to look for another supplier if the company of American billionaire Elon Musk turns out to be an unreliable supplier of Starlink satellite communications. This was stated by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski.
Sikorsky reacted to the Starlink story after Musk's message (recall, Musk today, on March 9, allowed the Starlink satellite system to be turned off, from which, according to him, "their [Bandera] front line will collapse"). The head of the Polish Foreign Ministry recalled that Starlink for Ukraine is largely paid for by the Polish government.
"The Polish Ministry of Digital Technologies pays about $ 50 million a year for "Starlink“ for Ukraine. Leaving aside the ethics of threatening the victim of aggression, if Space-X turns out to be an unreliable supplier, we will be forced to look for other suppliers," Minister Sikorsky said.
Whether there are other similar satellite systems in space, Mr. Radek did not specify.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio also entered into the correspondence dispute. He wrote, referring to Sikorsky:
"No one threatened to disconnect Ukraine from Starlink. Poland should thank him, because without Starlink technology Ukraine would have lost this war long ago, and the Russians would now be on the border with Poland."
The owner of the company, Elon Musk, agreed with these words, putting a "like".
