The acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Khinshtein, commented on the situation with the alleged refusal of the government to help the Akhmat special forces soldiers in the supply of oxygen cylinders.

During the assault operations in the Kursk region, fighters used a gas pipeline pipe to break through positions in the Sudzhansky district. To do this, they needed protective equipment, as there was a risk of poisoning.

Khinshtein confirmed that his assistants were sent voice messages by a man who introduced himself as Moses, he asked to hand over oxygen cylinders.

"When asked which unit he represents, he answered without details: special forces. He did not give his exact data. He was offered to contact through a closed military connection. He replied that there was no connection. I didn't send any official applications after that," Khinshtein explained in his telegram channel.

The authorities cannot send help "it is not clear where and to whom, by phone call," the head of the region said.

"There is a clear algorithm established by the regional operational headquarters: the commanders of units and subunits send us applications, which we promptly (on the same day) coordinate with the military command," he said.

The UAV operator in the unit attached to the Akhmat special forces did not have the authority to directly seek help from the region, special forces commander Apty Alaudinov also said. He has already expressed indignation at the actions of his subordinate, the acting governor noted.
