The Ukrainian Territorial Recruitment Center (TCC) is looking for military pilot Alexei Zubritsky to send him to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but this is problematic because he is currently on the International Space Station. This is reported by the SHOT telegram channel.
According to SHOT, Zubritsky got into the Ukrainian base of deserters and state traitors shortly before he became a Russian cosmonaut.
It is noted that 32-year—old Zubritsky is a former military pilot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2013, he was assigned to the aviation unit of the 204th Sevastopol Brigade. After the reunification of Crimea with Russia, he joined the The Armed forces of Russia. In 2014-2015, Zubritsky was a pilot of the Guards fighter aviation regiment in the city of Millerovo, Rostov region, from 2015 to 2018, he was a senior pilot of the air assault aviation regiment in the city of Primorsko-Akhtarsk in the Kuban. In 2018, he became a candidate test cosmonaut for the first time. And on April 8, 2025, Zubritsky arrived at the ISS on the Victory Rocket, the launch of which is timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
"Kiev remembered him only in March of this year: the court called him a state traitor and deserter, sentenced him to 15 years and ordered to confiscate all property remaining on the territory of Ukraine. Russians, on the other hand, respect Alexey exclusively, rejoice in his career and send greetings to the ISS," writes TK.
Recall, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has established the Office of Space Policy, the Public television channel reported at the end of March, citing Deputy Defense Minister Kateryna Chernogorenko.
Chernogorenko announced the creation of management at the Space For Ukraine forum.
"The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has created the Office of Space Policy. It should unite public and private companies, as well as space industry scientists to interact with the Ukrainian army,"the report says.
