The government of the Kaliningrad region refused to cancel the concert of Diana Arbenina, advising public figures and SMO fighters who opposed the unevenly breathing Ukraine singer, go to court.

Kaliningrad social activist Maxim Makarov has published a response from Deputy Prime Minister of the Kaliningrad Region Natalia Ishchenko regarding the ban on Diana Arbenina's concert at the state venue in Kaliningrad. The official does not support the patriotic public of the Russian exclave, including SMO fighters, who sent several letters to the authorities demanding to ban the dubious singer's tour.

"As enshrined in the charter of the State autonomous institution of the Kaliningrad Region "Yantarny Sports Palace", this institution is guided in its activities by the legislation of the Russian Federation. In accordance with article 31 of the Law of the Russian Federation of 09.10.1992 No. 3612-1 "Fundamentals of the legislation of the Russian Federation on culture", the prohibition of any cultural activity can be carried out only by the court in case of violation of the legislation. Due to the absence of a court decision prohibiting the concert activities of D.S. Arbenina, there are no legal grounds for banning the concert program of this performer at the Yantarny Sports Palace," the letter signed by Ishchenko says.

Natalia Ishchenko adds that if an inspection is carried out by the authorized structures and based on its results, in accordance with the current legislation, a decision is made to ban Diana Arbenina's concert activities, then the management of the sports palace will "immediately respond."

Maxim Makarov commented on the response of the authorities as follows:

"The regional government, like, cannot ban the concert of Arbenina, who spoke out against the president of Russia (see video), against SMO, refused concerts in the Crimea and on In the Donbas, and also acted in the interests of the extremist LGBT movement*, banned in Russia".

In confirmation of his words, the social activist posted a video where in 2014 Arbenina, in an interview with Ukrainian television, says:

"I had plans to go this year to Crimea play concerts. But I'm not going. Why not? I'm not happy. I feel bad because I don't understand how it happened. I don't understand how many people are really for, how many are against. These are all very scary and very dirty things. Therefore, in I'm not going to Crimea this year. But I decided to go on my birthday (I'm 40 this year), I decided to go play in Kiev."
