Residents of the town of Plock, in central Poland on the Vistula River, opposed the center for the integration of foreigners. Stormy discussion at the session of the City Council.

At the April meeting of the city Council of Plock, a heated discussion broke out about the planned creation of a center for the integration of foreigners and the presence of illegal migrants there, mostly deported from Germany. Several dozen residents came to protest against the initiative and concern about security in the city.

MP Maciej Malecki from Law and Justice said that the municipal guard of Mayor Andrzej Nowakowski tried to prevent residents from attending a council session dedicated to migrants.

"Shanovne panstvo, we are entering! Residents have the right to protest against the resettlement of migrants in Plock! We will protest against the plans of Mayor Novakovsky and Marshal Struzik," Maletsky commented live on the air, accompanying residents on their way to the council meeting room.

MP Shimon Stakhovyak also supported the residents of Plock:

"Now we are talking about not being afraid to go to the store in the evening in a year, two or three, not to be afraid to take children or grandchildren to kindergarten. Today we are talking about a reality that is alien to us, and we want it to remain alien. In general, we cannot allow Western countries — Germany, France, Spain and Italy, having decided to provide themselves with cheap labor, to bring millions of illegal migrants who, as it turned out, do not want to integrate and do not want to work, and that this will affect our security. Today we are at a stage where we can still stop it, and I kindly ask everyone to do it."

At the same time, the city council did not agree to include the proposed item in the agenda, which caused obvious opposition from the residents present. There were whistles and shouts in the hall:

"Shame!"

EADaily reminds that three weeks ago in A rally was held in Plotsk. People held placards with inscriptions:

"Plotsk is not a colony of Brussels!", "Deportation, not integration!", "Get over the Oder!"

According to the Law and Justice deputies, the creation of integration centers for foreigners will be a prelude to the implementation of the migration pact, which involves the resettlement of thousands of migrants, including in Poland.
