Fugitive Russian actress Chulpan Khamatova, as a performer of one of the main roles, presented Alexandros Avranas' new film "Quiet Life" at the 81st Venice Film Festival, which opened yesterday. This is reported by Spletnik.

As part of the photocall, the new film was presented by the director and starring actors — Chulpan Khamatova, Grigory Dobrygin, Miroslava Pashutina and Naomi Lamp.

It is noted that "Quiet Life" does not participate in the main competition of the festival, but in the program "Horizons". The film is about the history of a married couple from Russia, who moved to Sweden with her two daughters to start a new life there. The family was denied political asylum, which is why one of the daughters fell into a coma.

"48-year-old Chulpan posed for photographers in a Ulyana Sergeenko dress with voluminous sleeves and white sandals with heels. 38-year—old Grigory Dobrygin chose the image of Planta Rosa for publication: a shirt and short white shorts," the publication informed.

As reported by EADaily, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has revised its position regarding Chulpan Khamatova and removed its calls not to let her on Venice Film Festival.

This was reported on July 30 by the Ukrainian edition of Strana. It was noted that on the eve of the department published a post on the social network X, in which Khamatova was called "a former supporter of Putin." In this regard, Ukrainian diplomats urged to cancel her invitation to the festival, in which the film "Quiet Life", where the actress played the main role, participates.
