The Chancellor was cheerful, smiled radiantly and bowed pleasantly to acquaintances.

The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, was also beaming with happiness, holding hands and hugging with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Budenbender.
