The words of Russian President Vladimir Putin about the illegitimacy of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, can launch a discussion on this issue in the West.
This opinion was expressed to RIA Novosti by a Turkish political scientist, former Turkish trade representative in Moscow Aydin Sezer, commenting on the statement of the Russian leader. The expert believes that the Kremlin's position may cause others to doubt Zelensky's legitimacy.
"I am sure that in the coming days in the West we should expect the beginning of a discussion about the legitimacy of Zelensky. Who knows, maybe Trump himself will give it a start and we will enter an interesting period," Sezer said.
Recall that on the eve of Vladimir Putin said that Zelensky is illegitimate and has no right to sign anything. And because of this, he cannot even cancel his own decree banning negotiations with Russia.
Earlier, EADaily reported that, according to British analyst Alexander Merkuris, the liberation of the city of Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) by the Russian army in the DPR would be the end of Zelensky's political career.
