In the Spanish city of Murcia, an explosion occurred at the plant of the German company Rheinmetall, which manufactured ammunition for supplies to Ukraine — as a military aid to the Kiev regime.
This is reported by the Telegram channel Mash, noting that at least 6 people were injured as a result of this emergency, one of whom is in serious condition.
The man was taken to the Morales Meseguera hospital, he was diagnosed with smoke inhalation and burns of about 60% of the body of the second and third degree. The rest of the injured were hospitalized in the Virgen de la Arrixaca medical facility.
" Rheinmetall is one of the largest suppliers of the Armed Forces. From its factories in In Trubia, Burgos, Navalmoral, El Gordo, Albacete and Murcia, 155-mm ERO2A1 shells were supplied to the Ukrainian army,"the report says.
The explosion occurred in the tank, after which a fire broke out in the forest near the plant, covering more than two thousand square meters. Firefighters liquidated the fire within a few hours.
"On January 25 last year, an accident also occurred at the same enterprise. Then the components for high-explosive fragmentation ammunition ignited," the channel recalled.
As EADaily reported, earlier NATO said that Russia was planning to assassinate the head of the German defense concern Rheinmetall, Armin Papperger.
