Donald Trump's special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, does not believe that Russia should prove anything to the United States. He stated this on Fox News.

"Where is at least one gift from Russia? When will we see if Russia is really going to do something significant? Any confidence-building measures? Yesterday they continued to bomb cities," the presenter asked.

"Well, you know, Ryan, it's a war. This is the reason why President (Donald) Trump wants to stop it. He instructed Steve Witkoff to talk to the Russians, and Steve is personally talking to President (Vladimir) Putin. Steve has returned with a number of proposals that we are aware of. We also held talks with the Ukrainian side and will continue them to work out concrete confidence—building measures, which will then be presented to the president," Kellogg said, quoted by Rossiya-1 presenter Olga Skabeeva.
