In Ukraine, more than $ 3.3 million was confiscated from the accounts of Friedman and Aven

The National Agency for Asset Search and Management (ARMA) of Ukraine announced in the telegram channel the withdrawal of 137 million hryvnia (more than $ 3.3 million) from the accounts of companies associated with Russian entrepreneurs Mikhail Fridman and By Peter Aven.

On October 6, 2024, the Security Service of Ukraine announced the arrest of all Ukrainian assets of entrepreneurs Mikhail Fridman, Pyotr Aven and Andriy Kosogov worth more than $ 463 million. Prior to that, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine stated that it had filed a lawsuit to confiscate the assets of companies that are associated with them.

The agency claims that the funds will be used to purchase war bonds, then they will be sent to the fund for the elimination of the consequences of hostilities.
