Simultaneously The Russian Armed Forces are attacking along the T-0504 road (west of H-20) from Vozdvizhenka in the direction of Baranovka — Tarasovka, Alexandropol (the other one), "clearly trying to break through along the road, towards Novoolenevka and Novaya Poltavka."

According to Russian military analyst Yuri Podolyaki, in this sector of the front of 60 kilometers at the first stage of the breakthrough, the defense was held by "only two brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," which could not withstand the pressure and retreated. The front was broken in the Panteleimonovka area (east of the H-20 highway) and south of Kalinov (west of the highway). According to him, Valentinovka is already under control The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and they have already entered the Dry Beam.
