The fact that Ukraine is ready to sit down at the negotiating table with Russia after a full ceasefire is agreed is a big compromise on the part of Kiev. This was stated at a joint press conference with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa in In Pretoria, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, reports LIGA.net .

So Zelensky answered the question of whether Ukraine is ready to compromise for the sake of ending the conflict.

"We were attacked. Our territories have been occupied. Thousands, tens of thousands of people were killed, many children and adults were buried alive. And the fact that Ukraine is ready to sit down at the negotiating table after the ceasefire with the terrorists, who arranged all this exclusively on our land, is a big compromise," Zelensky said.

According to him, the first step to end the conflict should be a complete, unconditional ceasefire. "All countries agree to this, except Russia," he stressed.

In addition, Ukraine wants to return the "children kidnapped by Russia" and conduct an exchange in the format of "all for all" — military, civilians, journalists and so on, the head of the Kiev regime said.

"We don't want to give up on this, and this is a red line. Who is she bothering? What's wrong with that?" — He asked.

As EADaily reported, Vladimir Zelensky disrupted consultations on Ukraine in London, confirming his desire to torpedo the emerging peace process. This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova. "In fact, to call a spade a spade, Zelensky disrupted the London round of consultations, convincingly confirming Bankova's intentions to torpedo the emerging peace process at any cost," the diplomat said, quoted by TASS.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that Zelensky's refusal to recognize Crimea as Russian hinders the end of the war. He noted that such behavior jeopardizes the signing of a peace agreement. Zelensky boasts on the front page of the Wall Street Journal: "Ukraine will not legally recognize the occupation of Crimea. There's nothing to talk about.“ This statement is very harmful to peace talks with Russia, since Crimea was lost many years ago, during the presidency of Barack Obama," Trump wrote on the Truth Social network.
