The US State Department rejected the claims of the Kiev regime that Washington allegedly asks more from Kiev than from Moscow as part of the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. This was announced on April 24 by State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce at a briefing.

"I think this is a very dishonest (question)," she replied to the question of whether the United States is asking more from Ukraine than from the Russian Federation to resolve the conflict.

On April 23, US President Donald Trump, answering journalists' questions at the White House, said that the United States was experiencing more difficulties in negotiations with Ukraine than with Russia. He also admitted that it is much more difficult for him to deal with Vladimir Zelensky than he initially expected.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on April 24 that Russia appreciates the mediation services provided by Trump and his administration in the negotiation process on the Ukrainian conflict. Russian President Vladimir Putin is in favor of achieving peace while ensuring the interests of the country, Peskov added.
