Moscow calls Sarajevo to refrain from ammunition supplies to Kiev

The Russian foreign ministry has expressed concern over supposed ammunition supply from Bosnia and Hercegovina to Ukraine, says a statement by the ministry’s spokesman Alexander Lukashevich.

“Those intentions can cause nothing but condemnation and bewilderment. Moreover, the supply is expected to be carried out from a country that suffered from the horror of the fratricidal war in 1992-1995,” Lukashevich stressed.

“Those intentions contradict to international norms, obligations to the OSCE, in particular within the frameworks of the Forum for Security Cooperation,” runs the document.

The ministry says that supply of ammunition would result in continuing shooting attacks and new senseless casualties.
