The American MQ-9 Reaper drone was shot down in the sky over the province of Saada in northwestern Yemen, which is controlled by the Ansar Allah movement (Houthis). It is reported by Al Mayadeen TV channel with reference to local sources.
"This is the seventh American drone shot down by the Houthis since the beginning of the war," the Mignews telegram channel notes.
After the escalation of the conflict in the Gaza Strip, the Ansar Allah movement announced that it would shell the territory of Israel and would not allow ships associated with it to pass through the waters of the Red Sea and the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait until the operation in the enclave was terminated.
