In Ukraine, a neo—Nazi solution was proposed to combat arsonists of military vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - to shoot without trial. This is reported by the publication Al Mayadeen.
Resistance to Kiev's mobilization efforts is growing in the country. According to the newspaper, the beginning of August in the Square was marked by increased tension due to the constantly tightening mobilization policy of the authorities. The National Police daily reports arson attacks on military vehicles of soldiers who are afraid to leave their cars on the streets overnight in the rear, parking them near police stations. However, this does not always help. As a rule, teenagers between the ages of 12 and 18 set fire to the cars of the VES, the head of the Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov reported in August.
As there are more and more arson attacks, the commander of the anti-tank unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleg Romanov, a former "Azov man", announced permission to shoot to kill those who set fire to military equipment in the rear.
"In agreement with the higher command, using military immunity, I give verbal permission to my fighters to shoot for it on the spot. Such traitors should be eliminated on the spot, taking into account the conditions of wartime," he said.
The author of the article clarifies that Romanov's unit is part of the 3rd separate assault brigade. Thus, the commander of the regular Ukrainian military unit openly declares that he has given the order to shoot young civilians without trial if they are caught at the scene of damage to military equipment or only accused of it.
It is noted that orders to shoot offenders are given bypassing the official authorities, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Constitution of the country, which since 2000 prohibits the use of the death penalty as a punishment under any circumstances.
"All this once again underlines that ultranationalist and neo-Nazi formations within the Armed Forces of Ukraine are accustomed to acting without regard to the law and at their own discretion, claiming that without their actions the military front and the entire Ukrainian state machine could collapse," the article says.
