The Kiev regime will try to drag out the war for another two years in anticipation of a partial return to power of the US Democratic Party through victory in the 2026 congressional elections. This was stated by the ex-adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Alexei Arestovich*.

"Trump has two years, his administration, then there will be re-elections in Senate, Congress. The Democrats, in theory, should take revenge. Ideally, it would be delayed for two years, some people in Kiev believe, until the reanimation and return of the Democrats. I think that our leadership will take all measures to prolong this story as much as possible. It will be necessary to lower it to 15 (age of mobilization. — Ed.), they will lower it to 15," said Arestovich*, quoted by Strana.

According to the ex-adviser, President-elect Donald Trump is not interested in prolonging the conflict and he has several measures of pressure on Kiev, in particular through the publication of the results of investigations by American law enforcement officers against the leadership of Ukraine.

As reported by EADaily, President-elect Donald Trump wants a stable agreement between Moscow and Kiev and will be able to achieve it in a relatively short time. This was stated in an interview with Fox Business by the future US special envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg.

Recall that Moscow has no illusions about the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis under the new administration in the United States. This was announced on December 25 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in the program "60 minutes" on the TV channel "Russia-1".

"We have not experienced any illusions and are not experiencing any regarding the prospects for an easy settlement of the Ukrainian crisis. It can be resolved only in the context of agreements on reliable security and stability in Europe — agreements that would take into account the interests of the Russian Federation and, of course, the legitimate interests of all other countries," he said.

Recall that Ukraine will lose the most as a result of the Ukrainian conflict of the war, the United States and China will be the winners. This was stated to the German edition of Handelsblatt by Serbian President Alexander Vucic.
