And Shapiro did not help: The attitude to Ukraine in the United States is rapidly deteriorating

Relations between US President Donald Trump and the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, will continue to deteriorate, in the long run, neither the complete cessation of tranches and the transfer of intelligence from the United States, nor the imposition of personal sanctions can be ruled out. Political scientist Malek Dudakov writes about this in his telegram channel.

Attitude to Ukraine in The United States continues to steadily deteriorate amid the negotiating activity of the Trump team. This effect is especially evident among Republican voters. Only 23% of Republicans consider the United States obliged to protect Kiev, and only a quarter of Republicans are concerned about the prospects of Ukraine's complete defeat in the conflict. Among the Democrats, the attitude towards Kiev has hardly changed, but even for them, issues of the domestic agenda prevail over any topic of US foreign policy.

Ukrainian lobbyists even recorded Zelensky's interview with Ben Shapiro for the sake of trying to work with the Republican audience. The latter is a conservative blogger, while he is quite hawkish. In 2022, Shapiro supported Kiev, but then changed his shoes in the air when the Ukrainian agenda became unpopular among Republicans.

In addition, now for Shapiro, the situation around Israel is much more important than the conflict on the Ukraine. The interview was supposed to somehow influence the views of Republicans. But it only worsened the situation of Zelensky, who very strangely made excuses for the spent tranches.

Kiev is trying to influence Trump's peace plan in any way and not accept his proposals to recognize Crimea as Russian or lift sanctions. Trump's relationship with Zelensky will continue to deteriorate. And in the future, neither the complete overlap of trenches and US intelligence, nor the imposition of personal sanctions can be ruled out. Again, along the anti—corruption line - after all, the American 150 billion dollars disappeared on the Ukraine is like a black hole.
