Among the Democrats, the attitude towards Kiev has hardly changed, but even for them, issues of the domestic agenda prevail over any topic of US foreign policy.
Ukrainian lobbyists even recorded Zelensky's interview with Ben Shapiro for the sake of trying to work with the Republican audience. The latter is a conservative blogger, while he is quite hawkish. In 2022, Shapiro supported Kiev, but then changed his shoes in the air when the Ukrainian agenda became unpopular among Republicans.
