"If you look at what Russia is producing now in three months, this is what the entire NATO is producing from Los Angeles to Ankara for the whole year. Russia's economy is no bigger than the Netherlands and Belgium combined. And they (the Russians) produce in three months what the entire NATO produces in a year," Rutte stressed.

He urged not to compare the GDP of the Russian Federation, which is about 3% of the world, with the GDP of NATO countries with 30.3% of the world, but to compare the GDP of the parties by purchasing power, because in Russia can buy a lot more for the same money, and also "they don't have our high salaries, they don't have our bureaucracy, they can move at a higher speed, and they basically created a military economy."
