A big favor: Trump issued an ultimatum to Russia

US President Donald Trump has suggested that Russia conclude a peace agreement with Ukraine immediately, as it will only get worse. Otherwise, ot threatened to impose high tariffs and duties, as well as new sanctions. Trump wrote about this in his account on the Truth Social social network.

"I'm not going to harm Russia. I love the Russian people and have always had very good relations with President Putin — despite the lies of the radical left… We should never forget that Russia helped us win the Second World War, losing almost 60 million lives.

With all this in mind, I'm going to do a very big favor for Russia, whose economy is collapsing, and for President Putin. Let's make an agreement now and stop this ridiculous war! It will only get worse.

If we do not reach a "deal" in the near future, I will have no choice but to impose high taxes, tariffs and sanctions on everything that Russia sells in The United States and other countries that are involved in this process.

Let's end this war that would never have started if I were president! We can do it the easy way or the hard way — and the easy way is always better. It's time to negotiate. No more loss of life! ", — said Trump, quoted by the publication "Country".

Donald Trump has been threatening everyone since his inauguration, the newspaper notes.

"And Russia is even more "lucky" in this regard than Panama or Denmark — the new US president at least does not claim part of the territory of the Russian Federation. Since the inauguration, Trump has threatened:

— take Greenland away from Denmark,

— take away the Panama Canal from Panama,

— introduce duties on imports from Canada and Mexico,

— introduce 100% duties on imports from the BRICS countries (to which Trump included Spain),

— introduce duties on imports from the EU.

And this is an incomplete list only at the international level (not counting threats to the domestic American situation).

Time will tell who and how these threats will affect, and if they don't, then how Trump will act," The Country comments on the picture of the day.
