American black journalist Candice Owens caused an active discussion with her response to a legal letter addressed to her from French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte. The document, sent in response to Owens' allegations that Brigitte Macron was born a man, resulted in a public skirmish between Owens and the head of France, writes The Express Tribune.

Owens, in turn, issued a defiant statement in which she accused Macron of trying to silence her under the guise of threatening legal proceedings. On Friday, the journalist posted a response on her account on the social network "X", making it clear that she would not be intimidated.

"I will not be silenced,— Owens wrote. — You have no right to forbid me to use freedom of speech, Mr. Macron."

She also accused the French president of resorting to the threat of legal liability in order to stop her ongoing investigation into Brigitte Macron's past, which attracted widespread public attention because of the controversial theory that "she" was born a man.

Owens spoke in detail about her investigation, explaining that in mid-November she contacted a journalist who claimed that he had a large amount of evidence to support this theory. She went on to talk about her December trip to Europe, where she spent more than two hours talking to a journalist and studying the evidence provided by him. The political activist noted that just ten days after the first contact with the source, she received a threat of legal prosecution from the Macron couple.

"We believe that this letter was sent in order to intimidate us and, ultimately, prevent the publication of the material scheduled for January 30," says Owens.

After that, the American promised to publicly publish a letter, which, in her opinion, was designed to prevent the publication of her investigation. In her post, she also noted several well-known personalities, including Tucker Carlson, Andrew Tate and Alex Jones, which indicates that there is a wide network of support for her efforts to protect her rights. In a video recently posted on YouTube, Owens was even more active in making accusations, calling Brigitte Macron "mister."

"You see, Mr. Macron — both Mr. — in my world, I rely on people. I always bet on ordinary people. You can't even imagine what kind of army of people we can gather," said Owens.

She also commented on one of the sections of the letter, which says that Brigitte Macron "is not obliged to prove to you that she is a woman and has always been one."

.In response, Owens questioned the honesty of the Macron family's position.:

"If I'm the president and I have to deal with a scandal that has been going on for ten years regarding my wife, I certainly won't pay lawyers to send out legal letters saying, 'I'm not going to answer your question.'"

In one of the sections of the letter, it was argued that the denial of the accusations by Brigitte Macron herself was sufficient proof of their falsity. Owens ridiculed this statement by remarking:

"So if I say no in court, you will have to take my words at face value? In fact, this is an argument from the category of "just trust me, bro."

At the end of the video, Owens stated that the established legal correspondence between them now gives her direct access to the Macron family. The political activist made it clear that she intends to use this opportunity to ask them sharp questions, noting:

"Now that I have direct contact with the Macrons, I will ask them the questions they so obviously want to avoid."

Owens also recalled details from the history of the Macron relationship, mentioning, among other things, the 39-year age difference between Emmanuel (46 years old) and Brigitte (70 years old), who was his theater teacher when the young man was only 15 years old. Owens questioned the relevance of this relationship, pointing to a significant age difference and questionable moral background.

Owens' statements against the background of the ongoing controversy have further increased media attention to her investigation, as well as to the reaction of the Macron couple to the accusations voiced to her.

Post by journalist Candice Owens:
In mid-November, I contacted a journalist who claimed that he had a huge amount of evidence that Brigitte Macron was born a man. In December, I went to Europe to get acquainted with his evidence, and conducted a more than two-hour interview with this journalist. Just 10 days after our first contact with him, the CURRENT President Emmanuel Macron and his "wife" Brigitte Macron sent me a letter of a legal nature in which they demanded to refuse publication. Today, of course, I will publish this letter. We believe that the threat of legal prosecution was aimed at intimidating us — and ultimately preventing the dissemination of this material, which will have the effect of an exploding bomb — publication was scheduled for January 30. We will not be intimidated. In today's show, we will reveal to you the whole strange series of events and remind Emmanuel Macron that America is not Europe. Here we use the right to freedom of speech, and no one will shut us up. We invite you and your spouse to visit our country. [Here] a whole army of independent journalists is waiting for both of you.
