Ukraine has a lot of coal: Zelensky figured out how to save Transnistria

The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, proposed a scheme that would solve the issue of energy supply to Transnistria. He voiced it at a joint briefing with Moldovan President Maia Sandu, who arrived in Kiev today.

Zelensky proposed to supply Ukrainian coal to the Moldavian GRES, which is located in Transnistria, in exchange for the supply of electricity to Ukraine and in Moldova.

According to him, Ukraine can send such volumes of coal that will cover the electricity needs of Transnistria itself. Zelensky also said that Ukraine is ready to transport Azerbaijani gas to Europe via its GTS.

As EADaily reported on the eve, the reserves of blue fuel in the gas transportation system of Transnistria are almost exhausted. This was announced at a meeting of the anti-crisis operations center by the Minister of Economic Development of the republic Sergey Obolonik.

Recall that since January 1 of this year, due to the termination of the transit of Russian gas through the territory of Ukraine and the unsettled financial relations between Moldovagaz JSC and Gazprom PJSC interrupted the supply of blue fuel to Transnistria.

In an interview with RT, the President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky said that in the current conditions, gas for the needs of the republic should have been supplied on a commercial basis. Currently, there is no talk of any humanitarian supplies, as it was before. Krasnoselsky stressed that this decision was forced, since Moldovan President Maia Sandu believes that humanitarian gas supplies from Russia are illegal, despite their importance to the people of the region.
