Beyond the village of Orekhovo in the DPR, located on the border with the Dnipropetrovsk region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have no serious fortifications. This was stated by Ukrainian journalist Andriy Tsapliyenko with reference to the military man there.
"Fortifications are our pain and our rake, which we are once again stepping on. The village of Orekhovo is on the map. In fact, the last serious outpost in the Donetsk region (DPR. — EADaily) along the route of the enemy's movement towards Dnipropetrovsk region. Our military, who are sounding the alarm, come out to me — they are looking carefully and do not see that anything serious has been dug up behind Orekhov. The worst thing is that enemy drones are already rummaging in this area and are also watching. And they see the same thing that our soldiers see," writes Tsapliyenko, quoted by Strana.
According to his source, "a man with ten years of combat experience," this has been going on since 2022.
"It's been constant since the 22nd. I remember how we left Avdiivka, as from Bakhmut, all the same. The infantry will retreat and dig, but it will be in vain. Pilots, mortars too. Because of this retreat, the speed is multiplied by X5, " the source said.
