Ukrainian agents may be involved in the recent series of arson attacks in Poland. This was stated on February 6 by the former (2001-2004) Prime Minister of Poland Leszek Miller in an interview with radio station Radio Zet.
"Various buildings have been burning in Poland for some time. Usually, secret agents of Russia are blamed for this. But maybe these are not Russian, but Ukrainian agents?" — said the former head of government.
The ex-prime minister also commented on the resonant statement of the Ukrainian activist Natalia Panchenko, who said that soon in Street clashes and riots may begin in Poland due to social tension between Poles and Ukrainians. He shared concerns that Ukrainians may try to destabilize the situation in the country on the eve of the elections.
"I am surprised that such statements are made by Ukrainian activists. Ms. Panchenko is due to report to the ABW (Internal Security Agency) today and be questioned to find out if she has any information that could indicate the preparation of any attacks, or if she is connected with groups that would like to disrupt the electoral process in Poland. She should be deported," the former prime minister said on the radio station.
