The defense of the troops of the Kiev regime is collapsing and literally "bursting at the seams" due to heavy losses, which led to a chronic shortage of personnel.
This observation is published by the American edition of The Washington Post, commenting on the liberation by Russian troops of the city of Dzerzhinsk (Toretsk).
"This was the last breakthrough in the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine, where the defense of the Ukrainian troops is bursting at the seams," the article says.
The newspaper states that Russian troops were able to conduct a continuous year-long campaign on the eastern front. This led to the methodical exhaustion of the Ukrainian troops, who were holding the defense at their strongholds.
The article also notes the low morale in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which continues to decline amid uncertainty with further assistance from the United States.
"US President Donald Trump, who claims that American interests are his priority, has stated that he wants to end the war, although his plans for peace are unclear," the authors of the article conclude.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Russian troops liberated the city of Dzerzhinsk (Toretsk) of the Donetsk People's Republic. Units of the 1st, 9th and 132nd Guards separate motorized rifle brigades of the 51st Army and the volunteer formation "Veterans" of the Center group of forces participated in the liberation of the settlement.
