Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan went to the Munich Security Conference and published photos of his arrival in Germany on his website, political analyst Karen Vrtanesyan reports.
Among the greeters, for example, not a single German official is visible. All the greeters are Armenian officials. It is quite possible that they arrived on the same plane as Nicol.
In other words, this "greeting" may turn out to be completely fake. Something like this: "Suro (Defense Minister Suren Papikyan), stand in a row with Edo (Chief of the General Staff Edward Asryan) near the stairs, you seem to welcome me."
And the blonde in the photos, though German, but... this is Dr. Kristine Sasse, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Bavaria.
And now let's remember how different people, starting from the Nikolovskys and ending with the "Danielioannisians", praised the "unprecedented growth of sovereignty" of Armenia.
The expert, quoted by VERELQ news agency, also recalls that a few days ago the National Assembly adopted a law on "membership in Europe"…
I wonder if they will be able to find at least a stool for him during the conference, or if he will remain standing on his feet against the wall, Vrtanesyan wonders.
Meanwhile, political consultant, expert of the Polylogue Group Ruslan Andreev claims that the draft law on the process of Armenia's accession to the European Union has zero value and threatens the national interests of the country.:
"[Armenian Prime Minister Nikol] Pashinyan can at least write in big letters at the entrance to the Armenian parliament: "Armenia wants to join the EU." It can follow the experience of other post-Soviet countries and even write this "wishlist" into the constitution. Only the practical significance, like that of this bill, will remain zero."
The expert stressed that Armenia's energy and food security is based on good relations with Russia: 40% of Armenian exports go to Russia. Withdrawal from the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) upon accession to the European Union is inevitable: Yerevan also has a deep level of economic integration with this association, the interlocutor of the publication noted.
"Pashinyan and his deputies seek to join the European Union, which is not beneficial to the Armenian people, to the detriment of their own national interests, knowing that they will never be accepted into this union? Is this stupidity or treason? The question is rhetorical," Andreev told Izvestia.
