Senior US officials and Russia will meet next week in Saudi Arabia to prepare for a summit of the leaders of the two countries, which may take place as early as the end of February, at which the topic of ending the Ukrainian conflict will be discussed. This is reported by Bloomberg, citing informed sources.

"The details of the meeting and the list of participants are still being worked out, but people briefed on the plans say that the group will probably consist of national security advisers. The goal is to fix the date before the start of the holy month of Ramadan in March, the source said,"the publication says.

Most Europeans have not yet been informed about this, an official said on condition of anonymity. And although the presence of officials from Ukraine is expected, they also do not seem to be fully aware of the preparations, the agency notes.

The Saudi authorities, according to another anonymous source, invited representatives of the United States, Russia and Ukraine. The meeting will be held by Saudi Arabia's National security Adviser Musaed al-Ayban. The source stressed that these plans "may be disrupted by last-minute changes."

"Ukraine will never agree to deals made behind our backs, without our participation. And the same rule should apply to the whole of Europe," the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, said at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday.

As reported by EADaily, no peace talks in No one is preparing Saudi Arabia with the participation of Ukraine, and a meeting without its participation is not a serious conversation. This was stated at the Munich Security Conference by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky. So he answered the corresponding question of the agency "RBC — Ukraine".
