The vice-speaker of the State Duma Vladislav Davankov ("New People") appealed to the head of the Safe Internet League (LBI) Ekaterina Mizulina with a call to disclose what 200 million rubles allocated to her organization were spent on, as well as to comment on information about possible extortion of funds from artists and bloggers. The parliamentarian wrote about this in his telegram channel.
Davankov invited Mizulina to come to the State Duma in order to publicly discuss three key issues: how exactly was the situation settled with rapper and blogger Pasha Technician (Pavel Ivlev), whom the head of the LBI first actively engaged in, and then abruptly lost interest in him.
As part of the second question, we are talking about 200 million rubles.
"Last year, your organization, the National Monitoring Center for Assistance to Missing and Injured Children, received this money," Davankov recalled.
Also, the vice speaker of the State Duma asked about Mizulina's readiness to apologize to all those artists and bloggers who, in his opinion, were wrongly accused.
"You have built a career on the demands of checking out bloggers and musicians. We thought it was normal all the way. We have tired millions of people with our demands to ban, check and imprison. Then why don't you like it so much when they check you out? If you have nothing to hide, come to the State Duma," Davankov wrote.
Earlier, Davankov asked the Ministry of Internal Affairs to check Mizulina for extortion because of the statement of Ivlev's ex-wife, as reported by journalist Ksenia Sobchak in her telegram channel "Bloody Lady".
Mizulina responded to a possible check with a request to the Duma ethics committee, calling Davankov's actions an attempt to denigrate her activities.
In her telegram channel, Mizulina published a statement by the ex-wife of Pasha Technician Eva Karitskaya (Karina Melnichuk), who apologized for her words about the "solution" of the issue. Karitskaya also noted that she was in a state of passion after the death of her ex-spouse, and the video with the accusations was immediately deleted.
