Lavrov: Rubio called a fake message about a three-point plan for Ukraine

The United States said that the message about the three-point plan for the Ukrainian settlement is fake. This was announced by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov following talks with representatives of the US administration.

"As for the first question that there is some kind of three-point plan, I have not seen this information, I have not seen these reports," the minister said at a press conference.
"I asked [Secretary of State Marco] Rubio, [Assistant to the President for National Security Mike] Waltz today what this means. They said it was fake," Lavrov said, quoted by TASS.

Today, on February 18, in Saudi Arabia, the delegations of Russia and the United States held their first official high-level talks since the beginning of SMO on Ukraine. Moscow was represented by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Kirill Dmitriev. From Washington — Secretary of State Marco Rubio, US National Security Adviser Mike Waltz and White House Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff.
