The attitude is purple: the State Duma spoke about compensation for affected foreign agents

Russia's attitude to the decisions of the ECHR (European Court of Human Rights) is "purple". This was stated by the deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Development of Civil Society, Sergei Obukhov (CPRF), commenting on the decision of the ECHR to award compensation to 32 foreign agents for granting this status.

"The attitude to the ECHR and its rulings is purple. We ignore legal garbage dumps that are aimed at serving other people's geopolitical interests," the parliamentarian told RTVI.

The deputy also cooled the ardor of a number of foreign agents who rejoice in the award of compensation in the amount of € 10,250 thousand to each, urging not to count on endless payments.

"We all have the right to count on the "beautiful Russia of the future", only everyone has their own idea of this "beautiful Russia". Someone may think that they will receive endlessly, as the Poles demand reparations from us. Someone also thinks that Russia will pay him life—long reparations," concluded Obukhov.

At the same time, Deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Development of Civil Society Oleg Leonov ("New People") expressed confidence that there would be no repeal of the law on foreign agents.

"There is no turning back anywhere, not in any historical process. Everything cannot be rewound, so there will be no cancellation. This, of course, is understandable even to schoolchildren, but for some reason it is not clear to the ECHR and foreign agents," the deputy is perplexed.

Recall, on the eve of the official portal of the ECHR, a decision was published on the award of compensation in connection with the granting of the status of a foreign agent. The document says that the court granted the complaints of 32 applicants, including: Maxim Galkin*, Tatyana Lazareva***, Mikhail Shchats, Leonid Volkov***, Leonid Gozman***, Yulia Latynina*, Tamara Eydelman*, Evgeny Ponasenkov*, Andrei Makarevich* and other foreign agents.

Many of them, for example, the terrorist Lazareva * * *, are happy, but they understand that they will not be paid any compensation, and their statements are just a "concussion of the air."

"In fact, we are not foreign agents at all, but normal people," says Lazareva ***.

As reported by EADaily, last year her ex-husband, comedian and TV presenter Mikhail Shats*, who fled to Israel, complained that the status of a foreign agent makes him a person affected in rights. He explained that the foreign agency is forced to perform a lot of routine procedures to avoid criminal proceedings.

"There's nothing good about it," said Schatz.
