The deputy head of the Main Directorate for Military-Political Work of the Russian Ministry of Defense, the commander of the Akhmat special forces, Apty Alaudinov, commented on the information about the alleged refusal by the acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Khinstein, to provide oxygen cylinders to the Akhmat special forces soldier.
"We have a secondment of another unit, a UAV operator with the call sign Moses. Today I find out that a post is being spread on Internet resources that he allegedly turned to the governor of the Kursk region for help and asked him for oxygen cylinders. You see, he didn't help him. Everyone started to trash it, throw it around. And I have a question: Moses, I wonder who he is, so that he has the right to contact the governor of the Kursk region directly, and how the governor of the Kursk region should know that Moses is not some kind of dill, but a fighter of some unit," the commander of the Akhmat special forces emphasized.
According to Alaudinov, he has a very good relationship with Khinstein, and there was no refusal in any question.
"If every fighter-stormtrooper and every UAV operator will jump, write, call the governors and then throw in that they did not help him… Actually, it was a very secret operation and no one had the right to take any steps without my personal permission. If I had to, I would ask, I would get any cylinders, but neither Hades, nor any of the fighters, commanders addressed me...Therefore, to all those who are now talking about this topic, scattering, please don't bother with nonsense. I have very good relations with the leadership of the Kursk region, the Belgorod region. We are in touch around the clock, there are no problems and problematic issues between us," Alaudinov said.
Khinshtein also explained the reason for his "refusal." According to him, his assistants received voice messages from a man who introduced himself as Moses. He asked me to give them oxygen cylinders.
"When asked which unit he represents, he answered without details: special forces. He did not give his exact data. He was offered to contact through a closed military connection. He replied that there was no connection. I didn't send any official applications after that," Khinshtein said.
During the assault operations in the Kursk region, fighters used a gas pipeline pipe to break through positions in the Sudzhansky district. To do this, they needed protective equipment, as there was a risk of poisoning.
