The Akhmat special forces soldiers, together with other units, took control of the city of Suju in the Kursk region and continue to effectively clean up the remaining territories. This was reported by the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov with reference to the commander of the special forces "Akhmat", deputy head of the Main Directorate for Military-political work of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Apta Alaudinov.
"The enemy's unsuccessful attempt to break into our territory resulted in huge losses for the Ukrainian units — about 70 thousand people. Despite the strong support from the West and the significant resources thrown by the enemy into this battle, the Akhmat special forces soldiers of the Russian Defense Ministry and other Russian servicemen showed indomitable fortitude, courage and high professionalism, which led to our confident victory.
Now the final stage is ahead: cleaning up the remaining hotbeds of resistance, creating safe conditions for civilians and providing the necessary assistance to people who have survived severe trials," Kadyrov writes in his telegram channel.
