The White House has changed the language from diplomatic to "Soviet pretentious". This opinion was expressed in an interview with the publication "For the Future" by the former commander of the Polish special forces detachment "Thunder", General Roman Polko.

Roman Polko hopes that "the Americans will quickly understand that Putin is not a reliable partner with whom you can negotiate." Speaking about the fate of Poland in the context of the Russian-American "thaw", the general stated:
"This is not about territorial acquisitions [in Ukraine], but about a new order and the withdrawal of NATO forces not only from the territory of Ukraine itself, but also from territories that Russia considers its sphere of influence, which, unfortunately, also includes Poland. The ultimate goal is to oust the US from Europe."
